Emanuela Morelli

Associate Professor in Landscape Architecture at DIDA – University of Florence. She graduated in Architecture, after which she obtained a diploma as Restorer of gardens and historical parks (Academy of Arts and Design and Tuscany Region, and then went on to specialize in “Garden Architecture and Landscape Design” (University of Florence, 2001). She holds a PhD in Landscape Design (University of Florence, 2004). In 2019 she became editor in chief of “Ri-Vista. Research for Landscape Architecture”, DIDA UNIFI Scientific Journal. She conducts scientific research and has published many works on Landscape Architecture (in particular the last The English garden through Jane Austen’s eyes. Between wilderness and shrubbery, 2020). From 1993 to 2015 she practiced as an architect and landscaper with a focus on landscape design and planning for private and public agencies. She has also successfully participated in national and international design competitions.
